What if what makes you stand out is simply how you do what YOU do?
Honestly I think we spend to much energy focused on creating new things, then making those things different.
Be different they say! Stand out! Sigh…
What if what makes you stand out is simply how you do what YOU do?
Focusing on your lane and being consistent at it. Yeah that!
Let’s not forget about Consistency.
Think about people you consider to be “good” at something. A vital piece of what makes someone good is consistency. It’s what allows others to remember you and what you do. Consistency is so vital I would say you should create a strategy around it.
So, how do you keep your consistency going?
Here are a few ways that can help you:
1. Trust that what you offer is good.
If it’s not—fix that! You have to believe it’s good first!
2. Be able to track or measure what you are doing.
Yeah, like using a real tool. Search for something free or use an Excel spreadsheet as a tracking device.
3. Have an accountability partner to also check in on your results.
Be open to honest feedback. Don’t get in your feelings, do the work.
Focus on being consistent and I know the “more” you are desiring will come.
Be great with what you have right now first.
